The Bronson Eagles fell victim to the Bell Bulldogs''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They took a serious blow against the Bulldogs, falling 40-0. Bronson has struggled against Bell recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bell to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landin Williams, who rushed for 165 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries. Bell also got a significant boost from Cole Rarey, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 95 yards.
Bronson's defeat was their sixth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 4.0 points per game. As for Bell, their win bumped their record up to 1-8.
Bronson does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bell will head out on the road to face off against Space Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Space Coast is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
