Kaleke Singletary-Jinks continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Jaion Burns, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
The win was the third in a row for Dougherty, bringing their record for this year to 7-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Calhoun County, their loss ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-1.
Dougherty will take on McIntosh County Academy in a holiday battle at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at. McIntosh County Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings (they are ranked 198th, while Dougherty is ranked 39th). Calhoun County will be home for the holidays to greet Seminole County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Seminole County is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
