Basketball Recap: Villanova Prep's Win Ends Nine-Game Losing Streak at Home

Villanova Prep had to endure a five-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Ojai Valley Spuds by a score of 55-44 on Saturday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wildcats considering their 14-point performance the matchup before.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Villanova Prep to victory, but perhaps none more so than Hunter Comden, who posted 18 points. Those 18 points gave Comden a new career-high. Levi Burden Hahn was another key player, putting up ten points.

Villanova Prep's win ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-14. As for Ojai Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Villanova Prep will take on Laguna Blanca at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Villanova Prep is facing Laguna Blanca at the right time seeing as Laguna Blanca is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Ojai Valley, they will square off against Summit View on Monday.
