Flambeau had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Tri-County 43-12. Flambeau was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Flambeau a 1-0 record and starting Tri-County off at 0-1.
Next week, Flambeau take on Cornell/Lake Holcombe at 7:00 PM. As for Tri-County, they will face of against Pittsville.
