It was a good run, but The Denver South Ravens unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 21-12 to Thomas Jefferson. Having soared to a lofty 35 points in the game before, Denver South couldn't push the score so high this time.
Several Ravens players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chevelle Early, who rushed for 102 yards on only 13 carries.
Dimitri Haralambopoulos was the offensive standout of the matchup as he rushed for 96 yards, and also threw for 90 yards and two touchdowns.
Denver South's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Thomas Jefferson, their victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1.
Denver South will take on Vista Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Vista Ridge is ranked 53rd, while Denver South is ranked 61st). As for Thomas Jefferson, they will square off against Standley Lake at TBD on Thursday. Standley Lake is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
