The River View Raiders lost to the Montcalm Generals back in January of 2023, but the River View Raiders didn't allow the Montcalm Generals the same satisfaction on Tuesday. River View took down Montcalm 63-48. The victory made it back-to-back wins for River View.
Ethan Justice was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. He set a new season high mark in blocks with four. Another player making a difference was Jackson Danielson, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
River View pushed their record up to 6-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Montcalm, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
River View won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Tazewell at 8:00 p.m. on January 10th. Tazewell will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in their respective state's rankings (they are ranked 434th in Virginia, while River View is ranked 69th in West Virginia). As for Montcalm, they will head out on the road to face off against Mount View at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
