On Friday, Vermillion are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Dell Rapids at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Vermillion, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Vermillion came within a touchdown against Lennox last Friday, but wound up with a 14-28 loss.
Meanwhile, Dell Rapids couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost to Dakota Valley by a decisive 32-49 margin.
