 Meanwhile, while it was Westminster who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Godinez Fundamental who put up more. Westminster suffered a  rough 18-8 loss at the hands of Godinez Fundamental.
 Garden Grove pushed their record up to 13-8 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  at home. As for Westminster, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-20.
