Central Catholic not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 17, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Essex Tech Hawks 3-0.

While Central Catholic won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-26, 25-19, 25-20.

Central Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-10. As for Essex Tech, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-6.

Central Catholic has already played their next match (against Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Essex Tech, they are taking a road trip to take on Collegiate Charter School of Lowell on Friday.
