There's no place like home for Heartland, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They took their match on Friday with ease, bagging a 72-28 win over the Giltner Hornets. The Huskies' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Heartland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Carter Siebert, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 16 points and three steals. Thane Wetjen was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 12 points along with five rebounds and four steals.

Heartland was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Giltner still got an impressive performance from Blaydon White, who went 7 of 10 en route to 15 points. Those 15 points gave White a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Nuss, who posted six points.

Heartland moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Giltner, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.
