Evangel Christian put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 76-62 victory over the North River Christian Chargers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lightning also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2022.

Hudson Walker produced another solid effort going 9-for-16 to rack up 22 points and eight rebounds. Those 22 points gave him a new career-high. Ben Bugnar was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.

Evangel Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 24 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Evangel Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Evangel Christian will head out to square off against Restoration Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North River Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tuscaloosa Christian at 6:00 p.m. on December 9.
