Golden View Classical Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Ainsley Chidester. The Golden View Classical Academy Sentinels blew past the Denver Waldorf Spartans 29-9 on Monday thanks in part to Chidester, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Jocelyn Le, who posted six points along with nine boards and four steals. She has been hot, having posted two or more steals the last five times she's played.

When it comes to explaining why Denver Waldorf lost, don't look at Maelen Roybal. Despite the final result, she had five steals.

Golden View Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Denver Waldorf, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Golden View Classical Academy will head out to square off against Aurora West College Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Denver Waldorf, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Mile High Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 21st.
