Arrowhead Christian Academy can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent match on Thursday. They blew past Jefferson Prep 66-22 on the road. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-12.
Marcus Edwards and Asa Shaw were among the main playmakers for Arrowhead Christian Academy as the former almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds and the latter scored 20 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. Shaw is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Giulian Cabada, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Arizona Cultural Academy blew past Berean Academy, posting a 57-27 win on the road. Given Arizona Cultural Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 100th, while Berean Academy is ranked 255th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.
Arrowhead Christian Academy pushed their record up to 11-4 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.3 points per game. As for Arizona Cultural Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
