Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tavares). Everything went their way against the East Ridge Knights on Friday as the Tavares Bulldogs made off with an 81-56 win. With that victory, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 51.8 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tavares to victory, but perhaps none more so than LANDON SAMUEL, who went 8 of 15 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of AMARE WALKER, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 12 points and three steals.

Tavares was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

When it comes to explaining why East Ridge lost, don't look at Jordan Corman. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards. Corman is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. Bryce Olson was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Tavares has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.5 points per game. As for East Ridge, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Tavares will face off against Umatilla at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tavares is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.8 points per game this season. As for East Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Ridge has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 206 points over their last three games.
