The Livingston Academy Wildcats will stay at home for another game and welcome the Stone Memorial Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Livingston Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully the Panthers like a good challenge.
Livingston Academy pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 83-58 walloping at the hands of Upperman. Livingston Academy's defeat ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-8. As for Stone Memorial, they pushed their record up to 15-8 with that victory, which was their third straight at home.
Livingston Academy came up short against the Panthers in their previous meeting back in January, falling 65-58. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Stone Memorial's Cade Capps, who scored 29 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
