The Lake County Baptist Lions entered their tilt with Union Grove Christian with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lake County Baptist put the hurt on Union Grove Christian with a sharp 59-36 victory on Thursday. Lake County Baptist's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Christopher Reindl was his usual excellent self, scoring 30 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Lake County Baptist's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Davis, who scored 13 points.
Lake County Baptist's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Union Grove Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Lake County Baptist will take on Westfair Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Union Grove Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lake County Baptist at 5:30 p.m. on February 6, 2024.
