Makaylee Gantt was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Meredith Bolick was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Marin Wise, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.
