Leading Spoto to victory were Dominique Boone and Jayla Griffin. Boone almost dropped a triple-double on 14 points, nine steals, and nine blocks, while Griffin dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 steals. Boone has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played. Clinnesha Simmons was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with four steals and four blocks.
Strawberry Crest has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Spoto, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-7.
