Myers Park's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Richmond on Tuesday. The Myers Park Mustangs never let the Palisades Pumas get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. That ten run margin sets a new team best for the Mustangs this season.

William Jordak was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was William Washburn, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Myers Park is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. Palisades' defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.

Looking ahead, Myers Park will face off against Palisades at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Palisades has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for they, they have already played their next contest, a 13-0 loss against Cuthbertson on the 12th.
