After having lost a blowout in their matchup last week, Scottsdale Preparatory Academy were happy to find some success on Saturday. They dodged a bullet, finishing off Red Rock 34-33. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps state rankings were right on the nose.
The win bumped Scottsdale Preparatory Academy's record up to 4-1. The loss dropped Red Rock's record to 2-4.
Next week Scottsdale Preparatory Academy take on North Pointe Prep at 7:00 PM. North Pointe Prep have averaged 68 points over the course of their past six games, so Scottsdale Preparatory Academy might be in for a challenge. Red Rock will be staying on the road, facing off against Veritas Prep. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
