The Muskego Warriors are taking a road trip to square off against the Sun Prairie East Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Muskego's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Sun Prairie East's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Muskego's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Kettle Moraine as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

Kyleigh Sadler made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and two RBI.
In other batting news, Muskego let Reese Heinrich and Leah Neibrand run wild. Heinrich went a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple, while Neibrand went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most hits Neibrand has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Gumieny, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.
Muskego always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .542. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Kettle Moraine only posted an OBP of .250.
Meanwhile, Sun Prairie East earned a 6-1 victory over Vel Phillips Memorial on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Cardinals in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won five in a row.
Allison Giese spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Cassie Coffey, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Keira Martin also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Muskego is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Sun Prairie East, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-5-1.
