After two games on the road, Pierce City is heading back home. They will take on the Miller Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pierce City will be strutting in after a victory while Miller will be coming in after a loss.
Last Friday, Pierce City strolled past Jefferson Independent Day with points to spare, taking the game 54-38.
Miller suffered their closest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 41-39 to Wheaton, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Miller has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.
Pierce City's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Miller, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Pierce City strolled past Miller when the teams last played back in February of 2023 by a score of 46-27. Does Pierce City have another victory up their sleeve, or will Miller turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
