When it comes to explaining why Fort Myers lost, one person who can't be blamed is Therry Theresias. Despite the final result, he scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Those 18 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Marquielle Tory, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Fort Myers' loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Barron Collier, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.
Fort Myers will be home for the holidays to greet East Lee County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. East Lee County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 538th, while Fort Myers is ranked 259th). Barron Collier will take on Community School of Naples in a holiday battle at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at. One thing working in Community School of Naples' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matchups.
