The Fort Worth Christian Cardinals''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Midland Christian at home and fell 52-21. Fort Worth Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Midland Christian apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.
Fort Worth Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Luke Dodd, who threw for 200 yards and three touchdowns. Aiden Skiles was another key contributor, picking up 39 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Fort Worth Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Midland Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5.
