After soaring high against Owensville last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Potosi lost to St. Clair by a decisive 13-30 margin. If Potosi were hoping to take revenge for the 7-35 loss against St. Clair the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The defeat dropped Potosi's record to 1-0. The win bumped St. Clair's record up to 1-0.
Potosi will look to defend their home turf next week against Perryville at 7:00 PM. As for St. Clair, they will face off against Pacific.
