Given Ben's Ford Christian's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 112th in Louisiana, while Christian Collegiate Academy is ranked 240th in Mississippi), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
When it comes to explaining why Christian Collegiate Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Natalie Davis. Despite the final result, she scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Davis has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Payten Clark, who scored ten points.
Ben's Ford Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Christian Collegiate Academy, they are on a 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.
