After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Downtown Magnets, the Central City Value Jaguars were happy to have found some success on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 41-27 win over Annenberg. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but Central City Value was the (much) better team in the second half.
Leading Central City Value to victory were Angel Marcial and Andy Lobos. Marcial scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals, while Lobos scored 21 points along with 6 steals and 5 rebounds. The contest was Marcial's third in a row with at least ten points.
Central City Value's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Annenberg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Central City Value will take on Animo Bunche at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Annenberg, they will be playing at home against Downtown Magnets at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
