Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Raymond/South Bend). They took down the Naselle Comets 67-49 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ravens also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2023.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Raymond/South Bend to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ava Pine-Isaksen, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 15 rebounds. Pine-Isaksen is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Baugher, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 boards.

Raymond/South Bend smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

The victory was the third in a row for Raymond/South Bend, bringing their record for this year to 3-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points per game. As for Naselle, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-1.

Raymond/South Bend wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 39-38 loss against Toutle Lake on the 18th. As for Naselle, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 36-30 win against Taholah on the 13th.
