The Temple Christian Academy Warriors entered their tilt with the Greenville Classical Academy Lions with 12 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 13. Temple Christian Academy enjoyed a cozy 58-43 win over Greenville Classical Academy on Friday. Given Temple Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while Greenville Classical Academy is ranked 259th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Temple Christian Academy was led to victory by Jeramy Trangmar and Ethan Moses. Trangmar scored 19 points along with six steals and five rebounds, while Moses scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. Trangmar is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 12 games he's played. Eli Holbrook was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with nine rebounds.
Temple Christian Academy pushed their record up to 18-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.8 points per game. As for Greenville Classical Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Temple Christian Academy the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Oakwood Christian at 6:00 p.m. on January 29th. Oakwood Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three games -- so hopefully Temple Christian Academy likes a good challenge. As for Greenville Classical Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against GREEN Upstate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. GREEN Upstate is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.
