After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tonganoxie, Ottawa was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Baldwin Bulldogs as they made off with a 9-2 victory. The Cyclones haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Ottawa let Gavin Seaton and Cole McGrath run wild. Seaton scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while McGrath scored a run while going 2-for-3. Layton Thompson was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.

Ottawa's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Baldwin, they moved to 5-4 with that defeat, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ottawa will venture away from home to square off against Basehor-Linwood on Monday. As for Baldwin, they will head out to face off against Spring Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
