On Tuesday, Blue Ridge didn't have too much breathing room in their match against St. Joseph's Catholic, but they still walked away with a 58-52 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Blue Ridge.
Anyah Henderson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. She set a new season high mark in blocks with three. Another player making a difference was Helena danielle Earley, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds.
Blue Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for St. Joseph's Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Blue Ridge will square off against Eastside at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in South Carolina (Eastside is ranked 17th, while Blue Ridge is ranked 25th). St. Joseph's Catholic will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pickens at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024.
