That's the first time this season that Coppock scored 15 or more points. Ryan Richbourg was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Cornerstone Christian Academy suffered their biggest loss since November 28, 2023 on Thursday. They had to suffer through a rough 78-49 loss at the hands of Dallas Lutheran. Cornerstone Christian Academy has not had much luck with Dallas Lutheran recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Cornerstone Christian Academy's defeat came about despite a quality game from Nason Dorman, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 20 rebounds. Dorman continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. Another player making a difference was Joshua Doss, who scored six points.
Bishop Gorman is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-4 record this season. As for Cornerstone Christian Academy, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-11.
Tuesday's contest is shaping up to be a scrappy match: Bishop Gorman have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 32.9 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Cornerstone Christian Academy, though, as they've been averaging only 30 rebounds per game. Given Bishop Gorman's sizeable advantage in that area, Cornerstone Christian Academy will need to find a way to close that gap.
