Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kenyon-Wanamingo). They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 12-10 win over the Goodhue Wildcats on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Knights have posted since April 26th.

The win made it two in a row for Kenyon-Wanamingo and bumps their season record up to 7-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Goodhue, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-11.

Kenyon-Wanamingo has already played their next game, a 9-3 loss against United South Central on the 15th. As for Goodhue, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-1 defeat against Wabasha-Kellogg on the 13th.
