Aidan Reynolds looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Justin Pytash and Zack Kurkey did most of the damage at the plate: Pytash went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while Kurkey went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that Kurkey has launched this season. Another player making a difference was Ashton Tamzarian, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs.
St. Vincent-St. Mary kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Watauga had just enough and edged out Proctor 9-8 on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Pioneers have won by just one run.
Luke Rothrock looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.

St. Vincent-St. Mary's record is now 7-3. As for Watauga, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. St. Vincent-St. Mary has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.5 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Watauga struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
