Guilford Home Educators' rough 88-67 defeat to Chatham HomeSchool might stick with them for a while. Despite running the score up even higher than they did last Thursday (60), Guilford Home Educators still had to take the loss.
Chatham HomeSchool was led to victory by Zach Johnson and Gray Cable. Johnson scored 17 points along with six rebounds and three blocks, while Cable scored 16 points along with nine rebounds. The match was Johnson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Parker Teague, who scored 14 points.
This is the second loss in a row for Guilford Home Educators and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Chatham HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 10-5.
Guilford Home Educators will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Wake on January 8, 2024. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they will be playing at home against Oak Forest at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
