McKinley Tech found their leader in underclassman Marcus Dunbar, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. DaMontae Neclos was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
When it comes to explaining why DC International lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jordan Mason. Despite the final result, he scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mason has scored all season.
McKinley Tech's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for DC International, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McKinley Tech will take on School Without Walls at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in District of Columbia (School Without Walls is ranked 18th, while McKinley Tech is ranked 13th). As for DC International, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against BASIS at 7:00 p.m. BASIS is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
