The Blue Devils' offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 21 first-half points. Milton countered with 7 points, leaving the score at 21-7 going into the half. The offense for the Blue Devils continued to do well in the second half, scoring another 17 points to put the game away.
senior Kimani Vidal had a dynamite game for the Blue Devils; he rushed for 141 yards and three TDs on 20 carries. Vidal has now produced at least one touchdown in the past 12 games. Vidal's sharp performance set his single-game rushing touchdown high for the season. senior Harrison Bailey also deserves a shout-out for his two TDs.
The Blue Devils will take on Mill Creek in each of the teams' third playoff contest on Friday. These teams both are among the who's who of the state, so expect a thrilling matchup. Milton's playoff loss brings an end to their season.
