A big part of Bacon County's win came down to the chemistry between Scottland Hennesy and his top target Santiago Bizzell. Hennesy threw for 301 yards and four touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes while Bizzell picked up 163 receiving yards and three TDs. Those four passing touchdowns gave Hennesy a new career-high.
Bacon County moved to 5-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Brantley County, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.
Bacon County will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Swainsboro at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. Brantley County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
