The Capital Prep Harbor Sharks had to kick off their season on the road on Sunday, but they showed no ill effects. They welcomed the New Year with a 15-10 victory over Capital Prep. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Capital Prep Harbor also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Capital Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Madison Martin, who scored six points. The team also got some help courtesy of Pria Barrow, who scored a point along with six rebounds and two blocks.
Capital Prep Harbor pushed their record up to 1-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Capital Prep, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 1-1.
Capital Prep Harbor does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Capital Prep will look to defend their home court on Friday against Varsity Opponent at 5:00 p.m.
