The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Arizona (Canyon del Oro is ranked 50th, while Arizona College Prep is ranked 21st).
For the first time since back in November of 2023, Canyon del Oro was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North finished up their game with a 2-2 draw. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of four yellow cards before it was all over: Canyon del Oro's Lyric Brett and Seidra Hadi and American Leadership Academy - Gilbert North's Audrey King and Allie Roseberry were all carded.

In what's become a running theme this season, Arizona College Prep gave their fans yet another huge victory last Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 8-2 margin over American Leadership Academy. Winning may never get old, but Arizona College Prep sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Canyon del Oro's draw makes their record 9-5-2 this season. As for Arizona College Prep, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-1-1.
