Gavyn Frederick Drops League-Best Performance on Thursday
Starting off the list is Moapa Valley's Gavyn Frederick, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Frederick made 12 total tackles (2.0 for loss).
Pahrump Valley had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Frederick it was a similar story. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Frederick saw the Trojans), he made 13 total tackles (4.0 for loss).

Dixon Came Up Big in Virgin Valley's 26-16 Win
Virgin Valley picked up their fourth consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Drew Dixon. Dixon was unstoppable, rushing for 196 yards and two touchdowns. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
Virgin Valley pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Dixon and Virgin Valley will challenge Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kayne Horibe Turns in Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns
Kayne Horibe continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his third-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least two rushing touchdowns. He threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.5 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns.
Pahrump Valley now has a losing record at 3-4. Horibe and Pahrump Valley will head out on the road to take on The Meadows School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Caden Rawson Dazzles in Moapa Valley Victory
The second Moapa Valley player making an appearance here is Caden Rawson, and for good reason. He rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making three total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
This year, Rawson has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 55.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 3.88 rushing yards per game.

Damien Nevil Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Damien Nevil of Sports Leadership & Management. Nevil picked up 72 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 109 yards.
Nevil must have Virgin Valley's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Nevil saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 240 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 10.9 yards per carry.
