Shawnee will challenge Washington County on the road at 7:30 PM on Friday. Shawnee come in off of five low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.
There's no need to mince words: Shawnee lost to Frankfort last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 0-56.
Meanwhile, Washington County came into their this week averaging 32.33 points per game, but Washington County fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They have to be aching after a bruising 0-32 loss to Western Hills. Washington County were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-25.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
