St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) 75-70 in the premier game of the City of Palms Classic Wednesday.

Christian Terrell added 15 points, eight rebounds and five assists, offsetting a big performance from Bosco freshman
Billy Preston, who had 21 points and 12 rebounds. Preston's team, highly-regarded
Daniel Hamilton, contributed 15 points and 10 assists for the Braves, who slipped to 3-3.
Providence (7-1) also had a big games from David Sharpe (16 points) and Wyatt Walker (10 points, six rebounds), while Bosco got 14 points from
Vance Jackson and
Tyler Dorsey, added 11 points, six rebounds and three steals.
"We had breakdowns," Bosco coach Derrick Taylor told
naplenews.com. "When you play big games you can't allow teams to shoot 51 percent."
Allen told the newspaper: "Me scoring 31 here doesn't carry over to tomorrow night's game."
