It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Rolesville had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 87-52 victory over the Lumberton Pirates. The Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 25 points or more this season.

Caitlyn Jones was her usual excellent self, dropping a triple-double with 15 points, 13 assists, and 11 steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Gabrielle Matthews, who went 8-for-12 to rack up 19 points and three steals.

Rolesville is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-10 record this season. This is the second loss in a row for Lumberton and nudges their season record down to 18-11.

Looking ahead, Rolesville is taking a road trip to take on Southeast Raleigh at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Rolesville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56 points per game this season. Lumberton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
