The Two Rivers Warriors put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Highland Park 74-26 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Two Rivers also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Two Rivers' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gabi Kirchner, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isabelle Vannett, who scored 14 points along with 4 steals.
Two Rivers' victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Highland Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Two Rivers will take on Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jefferson will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while Two Rivers is ranked 15th). Highland Park won't have much time to rest: their next game is against St. Paul Academy-Summit at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th. St. Paul Academy-Summit is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
