Salisbury's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Mike Geter, who rushed for 25 yards and two touchdowns, and Jamal Rule, who gained 200 total yards and three touchdowns. Rule is absolutely dominating the rushing yard category: he's posted at least 100 every time he's taken the field this season. Another big playmaker for Salisbury was Jay'lin Johnson , who returned a punt for a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Maiden was able to grind out a solid win over East Gaston on Friday, taking the game 31-21.
It was another big night for Josh Stover, who rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 200 yards and a touchdown on only 19 passes. Stover hasn't dropped below two rushing touchdowns for three straight games.
Salisbury has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 11-0 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 37.91 points. As for Maiden, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
