It was fun while it lasted, but Stoutland's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Tuesday. They took an 81-66 bruising from the Licking Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Thursday (64), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Having lost for the first time this season, Stoutland fell to 3-1. As for Licking, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Stoutland Tigers challenge the Halfway Cardinals at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Stoutland's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Licking, they will take on Steelville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Licking knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Steelville likes a good challenge.
