The Davie War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 23 points or more this season. They ended the year with a bang, routing East Davidson 63-38. The victory was nothing new for Davie as they're now sitting on three straight.
Davie got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Bailey Aderhold out in front who scored 16 points along with three steals. The match was Aderhold's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Malayka Rankin, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and six assists.
Davie has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for East Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
Davie is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Reagan at 6:30 p.m. on January 3rd. East Davidson and North Rowan will face off at 6:00 p.m. on January 3rd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
