The Dr. Krop Lightning scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 72-43 victory over Carol City. The win was just what Dr. Krop needed coming off of a 84-43 loss in their prior match.
Leading Dr. Krop to victory were Emmanuel Ferguson and Joseph Washington. Ferguson dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds, while Washington scored 30 points along with nine rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jordan Alexandre, who scored nine points.
Dr. Krop's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-7. As for Carol City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dr. Krop will take on Monsignor Pace at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carol City, they will be playing at home against International Studies at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
