Farmington couldn't beat Ste. Genevieve on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the sixth inning. The Knights wound up with the same score they had in their last game (6-5), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.
Cooper Tripp put in work while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the first time he hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Tatem Tinsley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
North County's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Farmington, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-5.
